Design is the crux of what Eligo Woodworks offers. Whether it is a time honored period piece or something entirely new, being able to communicate design is of the utmost importance to Eligo Woodworks.

Usually a customer has some idea of what they want without the particulars. Most email this desire to Eligo Woodworks from which we tailor our response including an overview of the process involved in the design. If the piece is an existing design, we will send a representation of this design in the response to verify. If the piece needs to be designed we usually ask for some sort or representation (i.e. a picture or a sketch). From this initial concept we then draft a preliminary drawing and send it to the customer for further design consideration. We encourage this back and forth design process to continue until each customer is completely satisfied before production commences. Design specifics can also be accomplished over the phone or in person depending on ones proximity to Eligo Woodworks.
